This year, you can look forward to an informative seminar and a high-quality workshop that will provide you with a comprehensive understanding of the current legal regulations concerning the storage and transportation of weapons and ammunition as well as firearms law.

Saturday, December 9, 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. | Seminar: "The correct handling of hunting weapons and ammunition - storage, transportation and securing"

In this lecture, participants will learn everything important about the legal provisions applicable following the amendment to the Weapons Act 2020. The topics of storage and transportation are of central importance for hunters, as violations can lead directly to consequences such as the revocation of hunting licenses and gun ownership cards. Speakers André Busche, Eberhard Becker and Olaf März will not only cover the legally compliant storage of firearms and ammunition, but will also address issues relating to communal storage, the inheritance of gun cabinets and the carrying of weapons and knives. The relevant legal regulations will be presented in a practical manner. Questions can be asked at any time during the presentation.

Sunday, December 10, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. | Workshop: "Weapons law from front to back for hunters"

The three-hour workshop, led by experienced experts André Busche and Eberhard Becker, offers a compact introduction to the central firearms regulations for hunters. From the first hunting weapon to the question of inheritance at the end of a fulfilled hunting life, the most important regulations are presented in a practical way. Participants have the opportunity to bring in their own questions, which will be discussed together with the speakers. The workshop not only imparts theoretical knowledge, but also provides practical tips on handling weapons, knives and what to do after a game accident.
