In addition, the Pferd & Jagd is not only a pure sales fair, but also the venue for impressive shows, popular gala events such as the "Night of the Horses" and "MiMaMo" as well as exuberant party evenings, which will be held at the fair for the first time this year.

Three halls are reserved especially for horse lovers, riders and breeders. Here visitors will find a wide range of equipment, clothing, blankets, bridles, yard technology, stable systems, transporters, feed and feeding systems, fences and fencing systems, pasture management and much more. In various forums, circles and rings, experts as well as prominent riding stars demonstrate and inform, present horse breeds and riding styles and answer important questions about horse health.

NEW: The "Green Village - Sustainability in Equestrian Sports" in Hall 17. An association of young companies and start-ups would like to promote awareness of sustainability in equestrian sports so that everyday stable life can be consciously designed in a sustainable way: From FAIR-produced equestrian clothing, to grooming boxes made of wood made in Germany, care products made of natural raw materials, equipment for horses and individual horse feed.

An absolute highlight for every horse fan is the "Night of the Horses", which takes place on 8 and 9 December (admission not included in the fair ticket). The Night of the Horses captivates with pure magic and has been one of the most beautiful horse galas in Europe for 30 years. This year, international stars such as Mélie Philippot, Compagnie Impulsion, Iseulys Desle, Alma Vaquera and many more will be performing.

Also in the programme is "MiMaMo", the big children's horse and pony show on 10 December for the whole family.

In the hunting sector, too, the fair is taking a bold step forward with pinpoint accuracy to meet the demands of a modern and increasingly diverse target group. Trade fair boss Dr. Jochen Köckler: "We are turning the Pferd & Jagd shopping fair into the Pferd & Jagd experience fair.We will dust it off and make it stronger than ever."

The programme includes exciting discussion and information forums, networking evenings and appearances by influencers in three "green halls".

The renowned König Hunting Academy will also be there with informative seminars on topics such as young hunter training in the future, lure hunting and hunting operations.

And the range of products at Pferd & Jagd hits the mark. New: the special "Optics Clearing" area, where visitors can try out the latest binoculars, spotting scopes and rifle scopes under real conditions and at different distances.

The "Hunting and Sporting Arms | Optics Show" has expanded in 2023. Here, market-leading companies such as H. Krieghoff GmbH, Schmidt & Bender, Sauer, Mauser, Swarovski, Blaser, Leica and many others will present hunting and sporting rifles as well as optical equipment. The highlight: Both rifles and shotguns as well as telescopic sights can be extensively tested in the world's leading shooting cinema "Marksman Training System".
