Pferd & Jagd offers premium class hunting and sporting rifle models, cases, scopes and spotting scopes, hunting knives, hunting and outdoor clothing, gun safes, vacuums, off-road vehicles, high seats and much more. And on the open-air grounds, despite wintry temperatures, you can watch a woodcarver create fancy hunting sculptures from tree trunks or experience what it feels like to be jolted around in a powerhouse on four wheels in the LANDROVER off-road course.
The special presentation Hunting and Sporting Rifles | Optics has grown this year, with renowned companies presenting hunting and sporting rifles in standard and luxury versions, as well as ammunition, optics, spotting scopes, binoculars, rifle scopes and hunting knives. Among others, Blaser, Mauser, Minox, Liemke, Anschütz, Krieghoff, Schmidt + Bender will be present.
A popular meeting place and a must for every hunter is the visit of the Landesjägerschaft Niedersachsen (LJN). Here everything turns around socializing and exchange, in addition, around information about the different nature protection projects, for which the national hunter shank and its members stand.
The visitors may look forward beyond that to a varied stage program - with gripping bird show, hunt horn blowers, game cook shows and much more besides. The Jagdkynologische Vereinigung Niedersachsen (Lower Saxony Hunting Cynology Association) will also be present with over 20 hunting dog associations. In addition, current topics and trends will be discussed on stage, including exciting topics such as decoy hunting, fawn rescue with the help of drones and welding work.
Fairs make you hungry - and that's why there will also be specialties in the hunting area of Pferd & Jagd that you don't get in every restaurant. Among other things, game kebabs and game burgers are on the menu here, and there is exclusive hunting wine as well as game ham, game salamis and much more.
One of the visitor magnets is traditionally the stand of dlv Deutscher Landwirtschaftsverlag with its magazine "Niedersächsischer Jäger" and "Pirsch".
Those who do not have a hunting license but would still like to try their hand at shooting will also have the opportunity to do so at the Pferd & Jagd. For example, in various laser shooting cinemas, where visitors can get a feel for what it's like to go stalking. There will also be Intuitive Archery with "Bow Time."
Most hunters are in possession of a hunting dog, and therefore at the fair in the section "Everything for the dog" there is a wide selection of special food, equipment, collars, leashes, dog beds, reclining pillows.
Stylish furniture in country style, noble hunting ambience as well as luxurious fashion - this is what the theme world "Country" stands for at Pferd & Jagd. It is also the perfect place to go to fortify yourself after an exciting day at the fair with numerous caterers.
