The hunting section in particular will be completely overhauled, according to Deutsche Messe AG in Hanover. Messe boss Dr. Jochen Köckler: "We are turning the Pferd & Jagd shopping fair into the Pferd & Jagd experience fair. We will dust it off and position it stronger than ever."

The program in the hunting area of the fair includes exciting discussion and information forums, networking evenings and appearances by influencers, and on the Friday and Saturday of the fair it's "Party On!" from 6 pm: In the "Schlemmerhalle" is celebrated strongly with cool drinks and hot music during extended opening hours.

Also with the offer the horse & hunt hits the mark. New: the special "Optics Clearing" area, where visitors can try out the latest binoculars, spotting scopes and rifle scopes under real conditions and at different distances.

The "Hunting- Sportwaffen | Optik Show" has been enlarged in 2023. Here, market-leading companies such as H. Krieghoff GmbH, Schmidt & Bender, Sauer, Mauser, Swarovski, Blaser, Leica and many others will present hunting and sporting rifles as well as optical equipment. The highlight: Both rifles and shotguns as well as telescopic sights can be extensively tested in the world's leading shooting cinema "Marksman Training System".

And this year's Pferd & Jagd is also saddling up in the area for horse owners, breeders and riders, among other things in the "Green Village" - a special area dealing with sustainability in equestrian sports.

Dr. Jochen Köckler: "Tradition alone is no guarantee of success for a trade fair. Our idea is therefore to combine tradition with innovation and lifestyle. We will open a new chapter in the history of Pferd & Jagd with creative ideas as well as fresh perspectives."

Pferd & Jagd, Dec. 7-10, Hanover Exhibition Center, open daily from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
